During the past 21 months, we have purchased the tax liens on all of these properties. We also purchased the tax lien on approximately 1000 other properties. The market value of all of the properties that we purchased the first lien on is approximately $100,000,000.
Approximately 95% of all liens purchased will be redeemed sometime during the 1, 2 or 3 year maximum time period for a lien to be redeemed.
When the lien is redeemed, the investor will receive their original purchase price back and the earned interest that ranges from 6% to 24% per year depending on the state/county. Of the remaining 5% of the liens, most liens will be foreclosed on, the property acquired, and sold for a profit for the Fund.
